Job Description
As an AEP Analyst / CDP Specialist at Xerago, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing data infrastructure within Adobe Experience Platform to power real-time customer profiles, audience segmentation, and downstream marketing activation. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and marketing — ensuring that customer data is accurately structured, ingested, and activated to drive measurable impact across client programs.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Design and configure schemas and datasets in Adobe Experience Platform
- Implement identity namespaces and profile stitching to build unified customer views
- Ingest data into AEP via batch and streaming methods
- Monitor and validate data ingestion quality and resolve discrepancies
- Build and manage customer audiences and segments to support marketing and business teams
- Work with engineering teams to map source system data to XDM schemas
- Troubleshoot profile and audience qualification issues
- Document data mapping, schemas, and workflows clearly and thoroughly
- Support audience activation to downstream systems — campaigns, personalization platforms, and reporting tools
- Ensure customer data is properly structured for both analytics and marketing use
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
- Strong understanding of Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts
- Experience working with datasets, schemas, and data ingestion workflows
- Knowledge of XDM (Experience Data Model) schema design
- Understanding of identity namespaces and identity stitching
- Experience creating and managing Real-Time Customer Profiles
- Audience segmentation and audience activation knowledge
- Ability to validate and troubleshoot ingested data
- Understanding of data flow from source systems to CDP
- Good communication and documentation skills
Desired Skills
- Experience with Adobe Launch / Tags or any Tag Management System
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Analytics, web, or app data collection
- Familiarity with APIs, batch ingestion, or streaming ingestion methods
- Exposure to CRM data from platforms such as Salesforce, marketing tools, or call center systems
- Understanding of data privacy and consent management concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of audience activation to marketing channels including email, push, and personalization platforms
